Alexon Sonnier, Jr

Alexon Sonnier Jr, 83, of Lake Charles, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2026 in DeRidder.  His interment will be handled by Heritage Funeral Home.

Alexon is survived by four children, Leland Sonnier & Lisa of Lake Charles, Rhonda McNeil & Prentice of Ragley, Alex Sonnier of Iowa, LA, and Sabrina Sonnier of Iowa, LA; seven grandchildren, Ashley Hidalgo & Anthony, Sarah Bailey & Samuel, Brittney Schroeder & Jay, Rebekah Ashworth & Kyle, Candice Sonnier, David McNeil & Taylor, and Leland Sonnier II & Shelby; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lilda & Alexon Sonnier Sr; and wife Dianna Sonnier.
