Betty Joyce Fontenot 6/29/1938 – 2/28/2023 Betty Joyce Fontenot, 84, of Moss Bluff, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023 in Lake Charles. Her visitation will be Friday, March 3, from 9am-12pm, with her funeral starting at 12, at Heritage Funeral Home. Interment will be at Lacassine Cemetery. Bro. Randy Lambert will officiate. Betty is survived by four children, Terry Howard, Jerry Howard & Vickie Ireland, Sherry Felice & Lou, and Helen Ballard; ten grandchildren, Shannon Foreman, Amanda Fontenot, Sheralee Bruss, Governor Howard & Jade, Constance Howard, Alex Ballard, LB Ballard, Amy Howard, Samantha Howard, and James Moriarty; four great-grandchildren, Matthew, Abby, Michael, and Bailey; one brother Louis Arabie & Juanita; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Fontenot; parents Marcel & Ursula Arabie; and five siblings, Azamae, Evanna, Naomi, Nola, and Lalton.
