Carol Ann Hanna

Carol Ann Hanna, 83, of Lake Charles, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2026 in Merryville, surrounded by family.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 29 at 3:30pm, with a time of visitation starting at 2:00pm and a rosary starting at 3:00pm, at Heritage Funeral Home.  Father Keith Pellerin will officiate. 

Carol is survived by three children, Dianna "DeeDee" Meche & David of Moss Bluff, Woody Hanna of Merryville, and Rebecca "Becky" Ardoin & Aaron of Merryville; a bonus daughter, Lisa Mancil & Richard of Deer Park, TX; ten grandchildren, Courtnie OBlanc, Trinity Meche & Amy, Brityn Meche & Kim, Gillyn Meche & Alysa, Brittany Fontenot & Andrew, Nicholas Ardoin & Jadah Sargent, Landon Ardoin, Crystal Johnston & Jeremy, Leigh Anne Miller & Chris, and Candace Aubry & Aaron; twenty-three great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alma & Louis Roy Sr; husband Walter Hanna; and four siblings, Theresa Jones, Donald Roy, Geraldine Deshotel, and Louis Roy, Jr.
