Mildred Carolyn Whittington 07/06/1941 – 09/22/2020 Carolyn Whittington, 79, of Longville, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020 in Lake Charles. Her visitation will be Friday, September 25, from 5-9pm at Memorial Baptist Church in Longville. Her funeral service will be Saturday, September 26, at 11am at Memorial Baptist Church. Interment will be at Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Clark will officiate. Carolyn is survived by her four children, Pam Whittington Gaspard, Janine Whittington Love, Beth Whittington Montgomery, and Marlin "Bud" Whittington; ten grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; one great-great- grandson; two brothers, Jackie Taylor and Mark Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Whittington; two daughters, Tina Whittington and Sheila Whittington Steele; parents, Buddy & Toopie Taylor; and brother, Johnny Taylor.
