Dorothy Dee Shuff 02/10/1927 – 10/09/2020 Dorothy Dee Shuff, 93, of Moss Bluff passed away Friday, October 9, 2020 in Lake Charles. A gathering of family and friends will be at Heritage Funeral Home on Friday, October 16, from 1pm until time of service. A graveside service will be at Old Ritchie Cemetery at 2pm. Rev. Andy Derouen will officiate. Dorothy was born on February 10, 1927 in Mamou, LA to Curtis and Lula Soileau, and lived most of her adult life in Lake Charles. She is survived by two daughters, Judy Sensat and Juanita Watkins, and one son, Larry Shuff, all of Moss Bluff. She was known as "Maw-Maw" to 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 31 great great-grandchildren; and "Tante Dee" to a host of nieces and nephews. Her grandchildren, from grand to great, were the greatest joy in her life and she loved attending their various activities. She enjoyed playing cards weekly with her group of friends. Whether it was camping or vacations with friends or family, she was always ready for a trip. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Hampton Shuff; her parents, five brothers, two sisters; one granddaughter, Brittany Shuff and two great-grandsons, James and Caleb Watkins.
