Edward James Reed 7/01/1942 – 5/24/2022 Edward James Reed, 79, of Topsy, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at his home. His visitation will be Thursday, May 26, from 10am until time of service, with the funeral starting at 6pm, at Topsy Baptist Church. Revs. Lloyd Carroll and Charles Dodd will officiate. Interment will be Friday, May 27, at 11am at Southwest Louisiana Veteran's Cemetery in Jennings. Edward is survived by his son, Joseph Derick Reed of Moss Bluff; two daughters, Shelley Bellon & Clint of Moss Bluff and Shari Viator & Greg of Moss Bluff; seven grandchildren, Emma Reed, Grace Reed, Sophie Bellon, Reed Bellon, Nicole Mullins, Kellee Viator, and Kaitlyn Viator; three great-grandchildren, Aubree Mullins, Kennedy Mullins, and Lainey Mullins; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lindsey & Edith Reed; wife Brenda Reed; and siblings Gilford, Dudley, Ernest, EJ, Audrey, Joyce, Della Mae, and Abbie.
