Elmer Eugene "Gene" Faulk 6/05/1965 – 3/05/2021 Elmer Eugene "Gene" Faulk, 55, of Lake Charles, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021 at his home. His visitation will be Friday, March 12, 2021 from 4-8pm at Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 13, at 10am at Heritage Funeral Home. Interment will be at Old Ritchie Cemetery. Revs. Dwayne Daigle and Charles Manuel will officiate. He was a heavy-equipment loader operator at Southern Scrap/EMR for most of his career. Gene is survived by three children, Naomi Boulet & Brice of Lafayette, Joshua Faulk of Lake Charles, and Hannah Faulk of Lake Charles; three grandchildren; six nieces, Stephanie Bennett & Charles of Bridge City, TX, Kelly Hayes & Craig of Ragley, Tami Parker of Lake Charles, Jessica Mott & Kevin of Lake Charles, Tisa Burgett & Robert of Lake Charles, and Melissa Calabretta of Lake Charles; two nephews, Anthony Calabretta of Lake Charles and Jonathan Calabretta of Sulphur; and a host of family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie & Opal Faulk; four siblings, Roger Faulk, Steven "Tank" Faulk, Scott Faulk, and Lou Wanna Parra; and one brother-in-law Raleigh Parra.
