Evon Marie Dunnehoo

Evon Marie Dunnehoo, 73, of Reeves, LA, passed away Tuesday night, October 13, 2026, in Sulphur.  Her funeral services will be Saturday, October 17, at 11:00am, with a time of visitation from 9:00am until time of service, at Heritage Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Creel Cemetery.  Rev. Glenn DuCharme.

Evon is survived by three children, Johnny Dunnehoo & April of Reeves, Terry Dunnehoo & Monique of Vinton, and Brandy Roy of Lake Charles; nine grandchildren, Tori Lounsberry & Levi, Noah Dunnehoo & Alexis, Tucker Dunnehoo, Shay Dunnehoo, Ferrin Cooley & Chris, Emily Lawhorn & Tyler, Ashley Dunnehoo & fiancé Moses Lee, Rachael Fuselier & Alex, and Jessie Roy & fiancé Joshua Caesar; seventeen great-grandchildren; four siblings, Susie Jo Davis & Richard, Carl Decker, Rex Hall, and Stacy Decker Hutches; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Evon is preceded in death by her parents, Ervin & Lavina Decker; husband Samuel Dunnehoo; sister Shawna Hall; and sister-in-law Melba Decker.
