Gary Gene Myers 03/27/1941 – 09/06/2018 Gary Gene Myers, 77, of Moss Bluff, LA, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018 at his home. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 9, at 2:00pm at New Life Worship Center in Moss Bluff. Pastor Robert Kratzer will officiate. Gary is survived by his wife, Barney Myers of Moss Bluff; three children, Carlene Smith of Dry Creek, Gary Vallery & Sara of Alexandria, and Connie Book & Byrel of Westlake; nine grandchildren; sixteen great- grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson; one brother, James Myers of Minnesota; one sister, Laura Hays & Stan of Shreveport; a special cousin, Bonnie Sue Marcantel & John of Westlake; and a host of family and friends. Gary is preceded in death by his parents, William Myers & Mary Huckaby; two grandchildren, Kandyse Fontenot and Brittney Book; and one brother, Wayne Huckaby.
