Howard James Hoffpauir 9/30/1936 – 2/21/2021 Howard James Hoffpauir, 84, of Ragley, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 in Lake Charles. His visitation will be Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 5-8pm at Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, February 26, at 10am at Heritage Funeral Home. Revs. Richard Beckham and John Hoffpauir will officiate. There will be private, family committal following the service. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 25 years, Judith B. Hoffpauir of Ragley; daughters Marcy Hoffpauir of Bethany, OK, and Stephanie Hoffpauir of Houston; stepdaughter Julie Lewis of Ragley; sisters Buel Hyfield of Indian Bayou, Irene Foreman of Houston, Annette LeBeouf of Indian Bayou, and Loraine LeBeouf of Abbeville; grandchildren Dustin Hoffpauir, Alyson Arvites, Olivia Bennett, Avery Hamiter, Casey Lewis, Ryan Lewis, Gentry Lewis, and Emily Lewis; great-grandchildren Gavin Fruge, Damian Hoffpauir, Alicia Hoffpauir, and Scarlett Hoffpauir; great-great-grandchildren Alayna Martinez, Tyke Bennett, and Nataliea Fruge; and a host of family and friends. Howard is preceded in death by his first wife of 37 years, Barbara S. Hoffpauir; son Howard B. Hoffpauir; and parents Curley & Oraphine Hoffpauir.
