James Clement Bruce, 89, of Longville, passed away Friday, December 19, 2025 at his home. His funeral services will be Tuesday, December 23, at 12:00pm, with a time of visitation starting at 10:00am, at Heritage Funeral Home. Interment will be at Old Ritchie Cemetery. Rev. Don Snider will officiate.
James is survived by his two children, Karl Bruce & Christine of Moss Bluff and Sharon Reeves & William of Longville; five grandchildren, Tracy Newhouse & Brandon, Matt Bruce & Melissa, Courtney Ward & Glen, Kody Bruce & Toya, and Kayla Hatcher & Eric; nine great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Kaleb, Hendricks, Lochlann, Trip, Sadie, Lorie, Silas, and June; and one sister, Margaret Cromwell.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom & Manervia Bruce; wife Lorie Bruce; and siblings Benny Bruce, Norma Boblett, and Virginia Gilbert.
