James David Hicks 01/12/1941 – 07/22/2020 James David Hicks, 79, of Sulphur, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 in Sulphur. James was a captain in the United States Army, where he served in Korea. He was also a "jack of all trades", from small business to construction work. James is survived by his son, Jeff Hicks and wife Lana, and grandchildren, Eddie LaFleur, Jr. and wife Jordan, Greg Hicks, Tyler Ray and McKenizie Linscomb. He is preceded in death by his parents, Norman & Nancy Elizabeth Hicks; sisters Kay Frances Hicks and Sondra Hoffpauir; brother Norman Hicks Jr.; and son Jason Hicks.
