Jerry Otis Fewell

Jerry Otis Fewell, 83, of Moss Bluff, passed away Monday, August 17, 2020 in Lake Charles. Due to inclement
weather, a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Jerry was born December 29, 1936 in Dallas, Texas, to Addie Bee Fewell (Singletary) and Otis "Bill" Lafayette
Fewell. He was known for his love of the Lord, family, sports and jokes. He followed his passion in
counseling and worked for Boy's Village for many years. He was also a counselor and elder of Bethel
Presbyterian Church and a member of the Rotary Club. He later turned his passion for people into a career in
sales. He worked in oilfield sales, retail, and for Bolton Ford in auto sales. Jerry loved to play sports and was a
stand-out in basketball and golf.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 51 years, Julia Fewell; two daughters, Tawnya Sizelove and Butch of Lake
Charles, and Dana Rice of Jacksboro, TX; two sons, Shawn Fewell of Pearland, TX, and Scott Fewell of Dallas;
nine grandchildren, Kristina Lansing of Jacksboro, TX, Christopher Fewell of Houston, Kyle Fewell of
Brooklyn, Sean Fewell of Austin, Taylor Harrell, Brandon Harrell, and Alyssa Sizelove all of Lake Charles, and
Bayleigh Fewell and Matthew Fewell of Dallas; and three great-grandchildren, Kimbrie Lansing and Wittier
Lansing of Jacksboro, and Mackenzie Fewell of Houston.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bee & O.L. Fewell; sister Joan McElroy and husband Jay; nephew G.W.
Atkerson; and son Chris Fewell.
