Laura Elizabeth Moses

Laura "Lorri" Elizabeth Moses, born October 3, 1971 in Lufkin, Tx. passed away October 22, 2025 at her residence. She is the daughter of John H. Fletcher Jr. and Linda Susan DeRise.

Lorri is preceded in death by her grandparents John and Edna Fletcher, Everett Payne and Hazel Cushman, and Roy and Claire DeRise, mother Linda DeRise, and stepsister Keitha Sprinkle.

Lorri loved her job at Stine Lumber and her work family. Lorri was a very kind-hearted person and never met a stranger. She always saw the best in everyone. Her hobbies were cooking and barbequing with family and friends.

Lorri is survived by her two sisters Tracy Melancon and husband Gary Melancon, Heather Johnson and husband Mike Johnson, father John Fletcher and stepmother Katherine Fletcher, stepfather Robert "Bobby" DeRise, stepbrother Boyd DeRise and wife Cathy DeRise, three nieces, four great-nephews and three great-nieces.

The family will have a private memorial at a later date.
