Lucille Mahony 5/6/1938 – 12/2/2025 Our beloved mother and grandmother, Lucille Mahony, 87, went to meet her Savior on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, after a lengthy illness. She dedicated her life to Jesus and her family; her loved ones take comfort in knowing she is now home in His presence. Her days were marked by prayer, quiet acts of love, and gentle strength. Her visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home in Moss Bluff on Sunday, December 7, from 5-8pm. Funeral services will be on Monday, December 8, at 10:00am, also at Heritage, with interment to follow at Old Ritchie Cemetery. Rev. Jared Pugh will officiate. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Bob Wilbur, Earl Wilbur & Patty, Dwayne Wilbur & Sunni, and Christine Blalock & Mike. Lucille was a devoted grandmother to twelve grandchildren and numerous great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, who were the joy of her heart and the focus of her daily prayers. To her family, she was a faithful example of Christ's love lived out at home. Lucille is preceded in death by five siblings, one daughter, three grandchildren, and one great-grandson. There is peace in knowing she is reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her. Lucille's life revolved around Jesus and her family. She poured herself into her children and grandchildren – praying, encouraging, and loving them with a tenderness that reflected her Savior's heart.
