Marilyn Ann Reeves

Marilyn Ann Reeves, 83, of Ragley, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026 in Lake Charles. Her memorial service will be Saturday, June 27, at 12:00pm, with a time of visitation from 10:00am until time of service, at Heritage Funeral Home.

Marilyn was known for her generous heart and compassionate spirit, she was always willing to help someone in need, and believed everyone deserved another chance. She loved spending time with family and friends, enjoying a good cocktail, playing bingo, and trying her luck at the slot machines. Her kindness, laughter, and unconditional love created lifelong friendships and a family who will miss her dearly.

Marilyn is survived by her three children, Stewart, Melissa and DeJuana; six grandchildren, Josh, Devon, Hope, Robert, Wilson and Lexi; thirteen great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Noah, Luna, Maddison, Ashton, Braden, Eli, Loyal, Bradley, Tegan, Finley, Harper and Quincy; one great-great-grandson Da'Mirius; two godsons, Bull and Cody; one sister, Wonder; her pet dog Jeremiah; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alee & Clarice; siblings Kathaleen, Dorothy and Joseph; life-partner James; and fur babies, Honey, Shorty Pete, and Chico.
