Mary Frances Regan Tugwell 6/23/1931 – 12/12/2021 Mary Frances Regan Tugwell, 90, of Moss Bluff, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021 in Longville. Her visitation will be Wednesday, December 15, from 4-8pm at Heritage Funeral Home, and Thursday, December 16, from 9-11am at First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 16 at 11am at First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff. Interment will be at Old Ritchie Cemetery. Rev. Luke Liechty will officiate. Mary is survived by five children, Shirley Tugwell Fontenot & Sherman of Ragley, Gordon Tugwell & Nancy of Lake Charles, Linda Tugwell Guinn Whelchel of Westlake, Darlene Tugwell Habetz & Richard of Longville, and John Tugwell & Kim of Longville; twelve grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and six great- great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Cindy Tugwell of Kilgore, TX; brother-in-law Charles Tugwell of Conroe, TX; and a host of family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, William "Bill" Tugwell, parents Jerry Regan and Stella Regan Cox; and step-father John Cox. The family would like to say a special "Thank You" to their mother's caregivers, Trisha Potter, Ashley Hebert, and Jessica Sinegal; and to the staff at Amedisys Hospice. The family cannot fully express their appreciation and gratitude for the care that was given, which was not only professional, but very personal.
