Nellwyin Theresa Leger 9/03/1932 – 2/25/2022 Nellwyin Theresa Leger, 89, of Ragley, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022 in Lake Charles. Her visitation will be Tuesday, March 1, from 10am-1:30pm, with a rosary at 12pm, at Heritage Funeral Home. A funeral mass will follow at 2pm at St. Pius Catholic Church. Interment will be at Squyres Cemetery. Fr. Jeffrey Starkovich will officiate. Nell is survived by her three children, Roger Leger & Deborah of Ragley, Velma Rougeau & Kent of Lake Charles, and Susan Tillery of Stockdale, TX; four grandchildren, Donald Leger & Stephanie of Ragley, Angie Leger of Lumberton, TX, Jason Meaux of Ragley, and Justin O'Neal & Michelle of LeBleu; eight great- grandchildren, Jeremy Leger of Lake Charles, Josh Leger of Ragley, Anna Hennigen & Joseph of Ragley, Abigail Leger of Ragley, Joseph Leger of Ragley, Ashleigh Leger of Ragley, Isabella O'Neal of LeBleu, and Corey James O'Neal of LeBleu; three great-great-grandchildren, Ethan Leger, Augustine Hennigen, and Atticus Hennigen; two siblings, Hersey Granger of Winnie, TX, and L.J. Granger & Debbie of Lake Charles; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Leger; parents Odette & Deuse Granger; son-in-law David Tillery; and four siblings, Wesley Granger, Jerry Granger, Ella Fontenot, and Betty Granger.
