Orlando L. Calderon 8/04/1950 – 4/17/2021 Orlando L. Calderon passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 17, 2021 in Sulphur, LA. Private funeral arrangements will be determined at a later date. He is survived by his wife, Loretta, her two sons and their families. He is also survived by his only child, two granddaughters, one sister, three brothers, their spouses, four nieces and their families. Orlando was a brilliant, talented musician and teacher to which he dedicated his life. He loved music and marching bands, especially the thrill of competition and the community it developed. Orlando's love for music was inspired and fueled by his students. Being able to harness and channel a student's talents in the intricate language of music brought him the greatest joy. His dedication and fervor for music, life and love was unique and he will be greatly missed. He will no doubt live in the hearts of all those who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Florinda Calderon.
