Patrick Boyd Sherer 6/12/1955 – 4/30/2021 Patrick Boyd Sherer, 65, of Westlake, passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 in Lake Charles. His memorial service will be Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 2:30pm at First Church of the Nazarene in Lake Charles. Rev. John Hoffpauir will officiate. Patrick is survived by his wife of 23 years, Kay Sherer of Westlake; four children, Karen Ramos of Rochester, NY, Mack Blankenship of Pearland, TX, Deirdre Sims of Missouri City, TX, and Robert Blankenship of Fort Worth, TX; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Vernon James of Idaho, Jerry Sherer of Hereford, AZ, Michael Sherer of Topeka, KS, Tommy Sherer of Crowley, LA, Mavis Hebert of Yakima, WA, Donald Sherer of Moss Bluff, LA, Ronald Sherer of Westlake, LA, and David Sherer of Moss Bluff, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
