Raymond Douglas Catt 6/28/1959 – 8/07/2021 Raymond Douglas Catt, 62, of Lake Charles, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021 in Lake Charles. A graveside service will be Tuesday, August 10, at 10am at Big Creek Cemetery in Soso, Mississippi. Raymond is survived by four children, Jessica M. Turner, Matthew R. Van Norman, Lindsey Goodman, and Melissa Mixon; eleven grandchildren, with two more on the way; one sister Cheryl Hebert & Billy; two nieces, Pamela Hebert and Tiffany Hebert; and one nephew, Billy Hebert, Jr. He is preceded in death by his parents, Douglas & Shirley Catt; and grandparents, Herman & Helen Ryals. Raymond was known for playing the electric guitar with some of the biggest names in music, including Willie Nelson, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, and many more artists.
