Richard Lee Firmature, Jr. 10/27/1954 – 8/25/2022 Richard Lee Firmature Jr, 67, of Lake Charles, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022 at his home. A private family service is being handled by Heritage Funeral Home. "Rick" was an avid sports fan. He never met a stranger. A part of him will live on through a special woman, Emma Leigh. He is also survived by three sisters, Mary Soileau of Lake Charles, Karen Ortego & husband Kent of Lake Charles, and Gina Firmature of Austin, TX; seven nieces and nephews, Jason Ortego & wife Nicole, Valerie Chauvin & husband Walter, Brandon Firmature & wife Lisa, Jacob Firmature & wife Catherine, Ryan Soileau & wife Christine, Melanie Firmature, and Rachel Ortiz & husband Kacey; and second families, Vicky and her children, along with Charles & Sharon. Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Richard Sr & Beverly; brother Rodger Firmature; paternal grandparents Frank & Elvira Firmature; and maternal grandparents Charles & Pearl Bradbury.
