Richard Gilmore Erickson, Sr. 08/01/1946 – 05/04/2019 Richard Gilmore Erickson, Sr., 72, of Hackberry, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019 in Jennings. His visitation will be Monday, May 6, from 12pm until time of service, with the funeral starting at 3:00pm, at Hackberry First Baptist Church. Interment will be at Hackberry Cemetery. Rev. Monte Rouse will officiate. Richard is survived by his wife, Dorothy Erickson of Hackberry; two sons, Richie Erickson, Jr. & Michelle of Moss Bluff, and Tim Erickson & Louise of Slidell; six grandchildren, Skylar Erickson, Ricky Erickson, Dylan Erickson, Alex Erickson, Mason Erickson, and Katelyn Erickson; one sister, Sheryl Herrick of Minneapolis, MN; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
