Rita Louise Chance Stow 11/21/1941 – 05/14/2020 Rita Chance Stow, 78, of Ragley, LA, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020 in Lake Charles. Her visitation will be Sunday, May 17, from 4-8pm at Open Door Baptist Church in Ragley. Funeral services will be Monday, May 18 at 10am at Open Door. Interment will be at Hampton Memorial Cemetery in Elizabeth. Rev. Sonny Simpson will officiate. Rita is survived by her husband of 42 years, Charles Stow of Ragley; five children, Paul Morvant of Lake Charles, Jonathan Morvant & Lisa of Ragley, David Stow & Elizabeth of Williston, ND, Richard Stow & Debbie of San Diego, CA, and Cheryl Stow of Richmond, VA; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sue Gardner & Gene of Waskom, TX, Barbara Norris & Hal of Waskom, and Becky Hurst & Charles of Elizabeth; step-mother, Aline Chance of Oakdale; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
