Rogers Joseph Carriere 11/21/1940 – 12/24/2018 Rogers Joseph Carriere, 78, of Moss Bluff, passed away Monday, December 24, 2018 at his home. A visitation will be Wednesday, December 26, from 3-9pm, with a rosary at 6:00, at Heritage Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday, December 27, at 10am at St. Theodore Catholic Church. Interment will be at Old Ritchie Cemetery. Father Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate. Rogers is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Rita Bell Carriere of Moss Bluff; three daughters, Dana Carriere Wilson of Evansville, IN, Jodie Carriere Reda & Phil of Houston, and Cindy Carriere Camp & Roger of Clinton, LA; four grandchildren, Kalie White, Aymond Forrest, Stephanie Williams, and Chace Williams; two great-granddaughters, Karleigh White and Cora White; one sister, Merle Toupin & Pete of Westport, MA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred & Josephine Carriere; one granddaughter, Anna Elizabeth Forrest; one great-granddaughter, Camille Elizabeth White; and six siblings, Virginia, Floyd, Gracie, Freddie, Effrey, and Ferdie.
