Roland Ray Floyd, Jr

Roland Ray Floyd Jr, 78, of Moss Bluff, passed away Friday, May 8, 2026 in Lake Charles.  His memorial service will be Saturday, May 16, at 2:00pm, with a time of visitation starting at 1:00pm, at Heritage Funeral Home.  Rev. George Lee Glass will officiate.

Roland is survived by his wife, Anita Floyd of Moss Bluff; five children, Sally O'Connor & David of Centerton, Arkansas, Ray Floyd of Longville, Jeff Floyd & Cody of Pitkin, Shelise Duhon of Illinois, and Danielle Burnett & Chris of Iowa, LA; fourteen grandchildren, Jeffery, Trey, Mayson, Brooke, Hayley, KariBeth, Arrow, Dixie, Logan, Gage, Paxton, McKenna, Mariah, and Major; sixteen great-grandchildren; sister Bonita Costner of Chickamauga, GA; his "brother from another mother" Bill Tate; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Roland Ray Floyd Sr, mother Jaree Floyd, and mama Grace Floyd.
