Sammy was a wonderful, kind, fun loving man that never met a stranger. Even if you only met him once, he left
quite an impression. You instantly knew Sam Dunnehoo! On any given day or night there was always coffee
and great conversation waiting. He could draw you into a biblical conversation before you even knew you were
there. He had a gift in that area, where his love for the Lord overflowed. He was an avid outdoorsman. If he
wasn't in a deer stand or baiting a line you can bet he was preparing for it. He has enjoyed many hunting and
fishing trips with his family and friends over the years. His outgoing personality and sense of humor was truly
like no other. He loved auctioneering almost as much as the family he made while doing it. In fact, if you set
something down long enough, he would sell it to the highest bidder. Never a dull moment with this one.
Somehow, someway he could make you laugh. He always had a word of encouragement and enough love for
everyone. If you needed something he was there. This man was one of a kind. Anyone who met Sam could see
the love that overflowed for his wife Evon. He adored her and she was his everything. Together they had a love
for family that was strong. Family was everything. Family gatherings were always fun, from making games and
outdoor activities for the young and old to teaching the kids and grandkids how to cook. He brought us together,
it was The Dunnehoo way. His legacy will continue on through the multitude of family and friends whose lives
he has touched.
